Estaba perfecta esa noche alrededor de las 8pm, no hacia tanto calor y habia una briza genial! paseamos por ahi, despues de haber comido un buen churrasco palta y su chacarero en el Chilean Deli.

The night was perfect...about 8:00pm, temperature was just right, and there was a slight breeze. We walked around Temple Square, after having eaten in Chilean Deli (Churrasco palta and chacrero)...

Sigo con el ultimo dia que pasamos en Chile, como ven, el aeropuerto denuevo...

So, Mom and Kirsten get to go to Chile, while Dad stays home...talk about disparity!!! After getting kicked around by American Airlines, then almost not making the flight on Friday, the twenty hour journey to Chile began. They finally arrived the next day, to the open arms of loving family in Chile.

I would really really have liked to gone, but someone has to stay behind and pay the bills!

In this photo, I guess they had a surprise party waiting for them, and the "Surprise!!!" yell scared her.

I miss them so much! The only benefit of this whole thing has been helping me realize just how much my family means to me, and how much they do for me...I love you girls!!!!

Siii en el Parque de nuevo, y es que estos dias lindos hay que disfrutarlos porque asi como vienen asi son como se han ido, como hoy con lluvia y nieve pfff, esta demas decir que ya no quiero nieve!! y si antes decia que preferia el frio que el calor, me arrepiento de aquello, o por lo menos aqui en Utah, es que mis huesitos no se calientan ni porsiaca ...parece Alaska! perdon Andrea pero es verdad jajaja... En fin....su primera vez en columpio!!!!!!!! 1 semana y 3 dias yaaa casiii!!!! feliz

Yessss!!! In the park again!!! You should definitely enjoy these beautiful days while they last, because you never know when its going to snow again!!! Let's just say that I don't want any more snow!!! I know that I used to say that I preferred the cold to hot, I take that back, at least here in Utah! My little bones just can't heat up!!! It's like Alaska!!! (I'm sorry Andrea, but that's the truth!) In conclusion, it was Kirsten's first time in a swing!!!

Ahi estamos, salgo yo! asi es que espero que me dejen de hinxar por unos 6 meses mas jajaja Mi beba que ya va para los 11 meses ahi andabamos en el parque con Maria Angelica y sus 3 bebes jejje, por ahi se ve el mayor a mi lado izquierdo. Bueno, estamos esperando el pasaporte de nuestra hija para poder ir a Chilitooo!!! son vaaarios meses, asi que esperamos que todo salga bien....

Mañana se me va otra compañera del trabajo, no se si soy yo o es q tengo mala suerte, todas a las q estimo taaaaanto se me van :(. No si esto viene de nacimiento...desde que naci que me alejan de mis amistades jaja...Bueno espero ser LA PROXIMA EN IRME!! sisisisisi!!!

mi bebita ya tiene casi 4 meses!!!! y ya me dice "mu" jajaj, lo se....NO QUIERO COMENTARIOS AL RESPECTO!!!

En Buenos Aires celebrando nuestro sellamiento. Como ven, esta demas decir q estabamos felices jeje, bueno lo somos, cada dia mas y mas, eternamente...es increible como se pasa el tiempo...ya llevamos 1 año y 9 meses casados, y obviamente problemas han venido , uno se va otro viene...pero jamas han habido problemas entre nosotros, estamos tan unidos en todo, a pesar que Nico tiene 2 trabajos y estudia, y yo trabajo tambien y llego a hacer todas las cosas de la casa y la bebe,....bueno etc... jamas ha faltado la comunicacion, a pesar de problemas externos que hemos tenido, estamos felices siempre.... Puedo decir y gritar!!! que somos una familia feliz!! y eterna!!!

Seriously, though, I write in this less than I do my Journal (which is to say, never)...But, I don't know if anybody even comes here to look at this, so, what does it matter?

Each day our lives are enriched even more by this wonderful little girl. She's trying to talk, she is all smiles (only able to take one picture of that though), and does not like to be laid down. Even though she brings such a large sense of responsibility, she also brings us so much joy that the burden of the responsibilities seems light indeed. For me, there is nothing better than coming home at night to my two girls... Often enough I find them both deeply asleep on the bed, having been waiting for me to get home. Both mom and daughter exude such a strong feeling of peace and serenity that I do not bother them-I let them sleep.

In other news, depending on Lorena's Visa, we could be moving back to Chile as early as the end of next year... Lorena really wants to finish her schooling in Publicity with emphasis on visual media. Financially, it makes much more sense to have her complete it down there due to the cost of transferring her credits up here. So, here we sit, trying to determine which direction our future will turn. Hopefully all goes well and we can embark on this new leg of our journey.

Well, here she is World...Kirsten Lorena Bishop. Born April 28th, 2007 at 6:08 AM. After nearly 23 hours of labor, the greatest blessing of our lives was brought into this world by the skilled hands of Dr. Singer. Almost a year ago, we lost an unborn child of god. A year has passed now, and here we are, marveled and amazed by the grace and mercy of a loving Heavenly Father.

Only those who have held a being so close to perfect can understand the completely unexplainable feelings that wash over you like the breaking tide.

To those who would give anything to feel this, I would like to express my most heart-felt hopes and prayers that some day you may.

To those of you who think "Oh, nows not the time." or, "I would like to feel more ready." I say the following: Why? Why would you want to wait? I once felt the same way as you claim to feel...I once thought to myself "There are so many things that I want to do before I get to that point in my life." How foolish I feel now for having felt that way...how selfish I was. When I look back on the decisions I've made and the many consequences that resulted from them, none could compare to what could have been...I am so glad--no, wait, glad doesn't begin to describe what I feel. Something like glad, but a million times greater and mixed with overwhelming joy.

Do not wait. I am not advocating the factory-like production of babies, no, that idea died when our agrarian economy evolved. But, believe me when I say that there is no greater feeling in all the world than this: knowing that you had a hand in God's plan.

I must go now to attend to my newborn baby daughter. I think she has the hiccups, not a pleasant experience at any age, much less 5 days old....

First Time!!!

Well, everyone, this is our first attempt at this kind of thing...We hope that this turns out okay. This is our little girl, Kirsten, at about 4 months along...Can't tell from here, but she really is quite beautiful (judging from dreams that Grandmas and Great-Grandmas have had). She's supposed to be here on May 7, but we'll see how long she lasts! Both mom and dad are very ready for her to get here! She already has a huge amount of clothes and other stuff ready for her, thanks to the incredible generosity of many people.

To all of our friends and family that have supported us during these last 8 months, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts...God bless for all that you have done...
